News from the Food Shelf & Thrift Store
September is here in full swing and BRGNS is ready! The thrift store is filling up with cool weather clothing, moose and bear, and Halloween costumes are appearing on the shelves and our Back to School Supply Program assisted many area families prepare for school. Lots going on!
The food shelf remains committed to serving area individuals and families who need food assistance with emergency needs, getting through to the end of the month and even ongoing help. We are here to provide food assistance Monday-Friday,10 AM-3 PM. Just give us a call during these hours to schedule a food pickup, and don’t ever hesitate to call or stop by with questions about the process.
The thrift store continues to be in need of household donations such as coffee makers, small lamps, toasters, microwave ovens (all must be clean and in working order) as well as curtains, linens, towels, tablecloths, together with other household items. Check out all that we accept here on our website at the "Our Location" tab. And, don't miss the upcoming Fall Rummage Sale at Fletcher Farm. It takes place September 24-26th. A reminder that masks will be required inside all of the buildings. See you there!
